Have you ever wondered if your current season has a purpose? Do you ever feel like your present moment is so far from where you really long to be, but the answer to all your prayers is "not yet"?

Join bestselling author and artist Ruth Chou Simons for this six-session audio Bible study as she teaches you how to live in the present and trust in God's faithfulness—even while hoping for the future.

Now and Not Yet Bible Study explores six profound ways God makes His faithfulness known in the biblical stories of Abraham, Joseph, Israel, Hannah, and the Apostle Paul. As you encounter God through the pages of His Word, you'll see His ways, His character, His purposes, and His faithfulness in the lives of His people.

And the more you understand God's ways, the more you will discover that He's just as faithful in your life right now—even more than you know.

The Audio Bible Studies series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, this audio Bible study includes high-quality, live audio sessions from the author that cover important Bible-based topics. These sessions will reflect the ambiance of the unique recording locations, immersing the listener into the teaching. While not required for the audio experience, these studies are designed to partner with the coordinating study guide, sold separately.

Believers who feel dissatisfied with their lives should “step into the ways God wants to change ” rather than “trying to change circumstances,” according to this openhearted guide from Simons (When Strivings Cease), founder of the Christian lifestyle brand GraceLaced. Instead of “numb ourselves with distractions,” readers should turn “to prayer instead of fretting,” appreciate the present moment, and persist in their personal and spiritual work even when “we think our labors go unnoticed,” because “you don’t have to be blooming to be growing.” Delving into the Bible, Simons points to the Israelites’ 40 years in the wilderness to urge those stuck in “desert places” of their own to uncover the “comforts, idols, and treasures we lean on for sustenance” and replace them with faith. While those struggling with chronic illness (one of Simons’s examples of a desert place) may be less-than-satisfied with her suggestion to “create rhythms that help you remember God,” such as by assembling a good hymn playlist, she effectively grounds other bits of advice in vulnerable personal anecdotes, recalling, for example, how she dreamed of her “not-yet” career goals during the years she spent raising her children. Readers will be fortified by Simons’s steady assurances that “you’re not right where you are on accident.”
